About Sarah

Sarah Oquist, a board director and C-suite advisor, is an experienced, effective business leader with demonstrated skill in empowering leaders to inspire transformative change in their teams and companies. Described as a sophisticated and strategic communicator, Sarah has enhanced efficiency, engagement, capacity, and success in companies over her three decades of governance experience. Sarah began her combined legal and business career as a finance lawyer at Faegre before becoming the primary international banking lawyer for U.S. Bank, followed by serving as CEO of Grand Casinos Minnesota and then as COO of a commercial litigation law firm. Sarah serves on two for-profit boards, including board chair of Woodlands National Bank and Management HQ, LLC. She serves on three non-profit boards, including treasurer of the Walker Art Center and director for two real estate development companies. Sarah also serves as secretary and governance chair of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Minnesota Chapter. Sarah resides in a Minneapolis suburb with her husband and two school-age children.
